Dambulla Base Hospital nursing staff go on strike

The nursing staff of the Dambulla Base Hospital commenced a strike action beginning 10 a.m Saturday.
W. Upali Ranjith, chairman of the Dambulla branch of the Government Nursing Officers Association of Sri Lanka says that only the compulsory staff have refrained from the strike.
He said that this action had been commenced in protest of the superintendent of the hospital.
