Upcountry train services to be delayed after cement truck topples

Train services travelling upcountry have been disrupted after a truck carrying cement toppled over at a railway crossing in the Kolathanna area in Bandarawela.
The railway control room said that the Podi Menike express scheduled to travel from Badulla to Colombo has temporarily stopped at the Bandarawela Railway Station.
The Railway Control Room added that the train which was scheduled to reach Colombo at 7 p.m will be delayed.
