President to commission Mihintale Raja Maha Viharaya electricity scheme

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will commission the newly installed Mihintale Raja Maha Viharaya electricity scheme by switching on illuminations at the Mihintale Sela Cetiya on the invitation of National Heritage Minister Jagath Balasooriya on June 23.
The new electricity scheme was installed at a cost of Rs 7.5 million by the National Heritage Ministry under the supervision of the Archaeology Department in response to a request by Mihintale Raja Maha Viharadhipati Ven. Walawahengunawewe Dhammaratana Nayake Thera.
